Localization : Pauillac is a Bordeaux appellation that
covers five parishes : Cissac-Médoc, Pauillac, Saint Estèphe, Saint
Julien-Beychevelle and Saint Sauveur.
Notes: Pauillac wines are exclusively red wines: rich
tannins, full-bodied, robust when young with aromas of red fruit and flowers,
they gain in complexity with long-term cellaring. Pauillac has produced three
of the five premiers grands crus classés (first growths) of the Médoc
classification of 1855.
