Average annual Production : 38,000,000 bottles
Notes: Officially, all wines from the appellations of
Haut-Médoc, Listrac-Médoc, Margaux,
Médoc, Moulis, Pauillac, Saint-Estephe and Saint-Julien may
use the Médoc appellation, but only wines produced in the
northern part of the Médoc actually do.
Médoc wines consequently reflect all the characteristics of
the other appellations.
