Notes: Officially, all wines from the appellations of Haut-Médoc, Listrac-Médoc, Margaux, Médoc, Moulis, Pauillac, Saint-Estephe and Saint-Julien may use the Médoc appellation, but only wines produced in the northern part of the Médoc actually do.
Médoc wines consequently reflect all the characteristics of the other appellations.
