Notes: Haut-Médoc is a Bordeaux
appellation that includes the parishes of Arcins, Arsac, Avensan, Blanquefort,
Cantenac, Castelnau, Cissac, Cussac, Labarde, Lamarque, Le Pian, Le Taillan,
Listrac, Ludon, Macau, Margaux, Moulis, Parempuyre, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe,
Saint-Julien, Saint-Laurent de Médoc, Saint-Sauveur, Saint-Seurin de Cadourne,
Soussans and Vertheuil. The wines of the Haut-Médoc are not
especially full-bodied but often have a very intense black fruit
nose.
